So you are new to SEO too? That’s okay, we all are at some point or another. If there is one lesson I want you to take away when learning SEO, it’s that you shouldn’t buy bulk links.
Many people use fiverr.com for cheap labor to be performed. Many users will try to buy bulk links as a service from fiverr.com. It looks great from the start because for five bucks, you are promised thousands of links going back to your website. Some are even “generous” enough to give you .edu backlinks. Please do not fall for this trick. This is considered “Black-Hat SEO.” There is always a chance that it might actually help but the risk far outweighs the cost of buying links. Google is constantly updating their algorithm to destroy the act of buying links.
So what do I do if I want a lot of links but not get in trouble for it?
Simple. Create amazing content and it will work itself out. Don’t know what I’m talking about? I will even provide a screen shot of what not to get! Whatever you do, don’t fall for something like this:
Just don’t do it, okay? Thanks!

So true, Craig. The downside of buying Fiverr links is much worse than the upside. Gain satisfaction from earning the links. Patience and hard work are the key.
Thank you for the great comment Carolyn! Patience and hard work definitely are they keys to success! Many personal and business bloggers don’t understand that!
At last, word is getting out there: Fiverr backlinks are hazardous to your (site’) health!
I’ve written extensively on the topic on my Best of Fiverr blog, as well as other Fiverr issues. The gigs you really want to watch for are those who say they are using SEn*ke or Scr*pebox to generate the backlinks. They’re extremely low quality, they spam blogs — which hurts innocent bloggers — and Google spots them easily now. (I altered the software names because ironically, if you don’t, you’ll get spam from people trying to sell those programs!)
People have had their sites penalized and even delisted for buying Fiverr backlink packages. I can’t stress enough: don’t do it.
Exactly Charleen! Many terrible “SEO Consultants” are actually ruining companies out there with these techniques…It makes me sick.
If it were the case that Google penalizes or delists sites with purchased Fiverr links, then it would be too easy to satotage competitors simply by buying Fiverr links to delist competitor sites. I can see Google giving no credit for the Fiverr links – I cannot fathom Google delisting sites for the reason I cited.
